"All bunked up"

Films: Hybrid (1997)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Okay! I think we might, just might, finally be out of that phase Hollywood had directly taking from "Alien" or any of its sequels. Let's try and end it with something obscure.

History: Earth has recently been ravaged by an invading alien race. Those fortunate enough to escape all the destruction and bombs are on the run. A group of soldiers has recently found an abandoned bunker to hide in. What they failed to account for is that some wiseacre tried to create a being out of alien and human DNA, resulting in a savage monster that patrols the bunker looking for people to eat or worse.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being distracted by a person, the hybrid fails to realize that the whole place has been rigged with explosives. The whole bunker gets taken out alongside it.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Aside from the fact that we barely see it, it is painfully obvious that the guy in the suit cannot see a damn thing. Almost hilariously authentic, considering that the beast doesn't have any eyes either. A shame that this thing looks so menacing in still-shots.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Hybrid: The Outer Limits of Horror".

-The hybrid was played by Christopher Ray, who is now more a producer/director.

Think he's an ordinary red-eyed human? Think again.
More like just the limits of horror.
